Planning
Choosing a Vietnam Golf Tour Company: What to Check
Two golf holiday quotes can look similar and be very different trips. Before you book a Vietnam golf holiday with anyone, us included, here is what to compare.
1. What exactly is included
Check every line: green fees, caddie fees, buggies, airport and course transfers, accommodation, breakfasts and other meals, and any touring. Caddie tips are usually extra. A low headline price often leaves out buggies or transfers, which add up quickly over a week.
2. How the price is quoted
Look for the currency (US dollars or Australian dollars), whether the price is per person or per group, and the room-sharing basis. Twin share and single rooms are priced very differently. Ask what happens to the price if your group numbers change.
3. Which courses, and when
Ask for the course names and tee times, not "a championship course". The best courses in central Vietnam fill at weekends and on holidays, and a good operator will tell you which ones are confirmed and which are requests.
4. Local knowledge
Someone who knows the courses, the drive times and the restaurants makes a real difference. Ask whether the people planning your trip are based in Vietnam, and whether anyone will be on the ground while you are there.
5. Support during the trip
- Who do you call if a transfer is late or a round is rained out?
- Is there one contact for the whole trip, reachable by phone or WhatsApp?
- How are changes handled once you are in Vietnam?
- What are the payment terms and the cancellation policy, in writing?
How ASEAN LINKS quotes
We show prices in US dollars and Australian dollars, per person, with the room-sharing basis stated, and list inclusions and exclusions on each golf holiday page. Our team is based in Da Nang. See how it works for the full process.
