The Tour
Da Nang's finest four, in one unforgettable week
Da Nang is Vietnam's golf capital. Within an hour of the city centre you have four courses that sit among the finest in all of Asia, each designed by a legend of the game. This tour does not mix filler rounds. Every course earns its place.
The cultural day drives the Hai Van Pass into the mountains, drops to the fishing villages of Lang Co and finishes at the ancient Marble Mountains. Non-golfers travel the entire route. Golfers get the same scenery from a different angle, the Laguna Lang Co fairways framed by jungle peaks and the sea.
The week closes at Montgomerie Links Vietnam with a farewell dinner on the coast. Whether this is your first trip to Vietnam or your tenth, this itinerary shows you a side of the country that most visitors never reach.
The Courses
Four legends. Four designers. One week.
Greg Norman, Luke Donald, Nick Faldo, Robert Trent Jones II. No golf region in Southeast Asia can claim a week like this.

BRG Norman Course
Best in Vietnam, Golf Digest 2012 · Greg Norman design
The Great White Shark's signature layout stretches across dramatic coastal dune land between the mountains and the South China Sea. Wide fairways give way to tricky approaches and fast, undulating greens that reward local knowledge.

Ba Na Hills Golf Club
Asia's Best Golf Course 5x · Luke Donald design
Named Asia's Best Golf Course five times and designed by 2023 Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald, Ba Na Hills sits in the lush foothills west of Da Nang. Every hole is framed by tropical jungle with dramatic mountain backdrops and a routing that flows seamlessly through the terrain.

Laguna Lang Co
Vietnam's Best 2019 · Nick Faldo design
Sir Nick Faldo routed this championship layout around the Laguna Lang Co resort, with mountain, jungle, river and lagoon views on almost every hole. One of the most visually striking courses in all of Southeast Asia. A 90-minute drive from Da Nang through the Hai Van Pass tunnel.

Montgomerie Links Vietnam
Colin Montgomerie design · Final round + farewell dinner
Colin Montgomerie's natural links layout built across the white sand dunes of Quang Nam. A true links test to close out the week - rewarding accuracy, punishing everything else, with a farewell dinner at the clubhouse as the sun drops over the dunes.
Day by Day
Your 7-day itinerary
Every day is planned. Every transfer is organised. You land, we handle the rest.
Arrive into Da Nang International Airport (DAD). Your ASEAN Links transfer is waiting at arrivals and takes you directly to your 5-star Da Nang hotel. If you are arriving from the Hoi An: Links & Lanterns tour, your transfer comes from the Hoi An hotel instead. Check in, freshen up and join the group for a welcome drink and dinner with a full briefing from your tour host. Da Nang's beachfront strip is right outside the door.
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the BRG Da Nang Golf Resort for the first round on the Greg Norman-designed course. The Norman Course sits on a prime stretch of coastline between the mountains and the South China Sea, with wide sweeping fairways that put a premium on accurate driving into elevated greens. Named Best Golf Course in Vietnam by Golf Digest, this is the course that put Da Nang on the global golf map. English-speaking caddie and shared motorised cart included. Post-round drinks at the BRG clubhouse with views across the resort.
About BRG Norman Course Designed by Greg Norman and opened in 2008, the Norman Course was among the first international-standard courses to open in central Vietnam. Golf Digest named it the best course in the country in 2012 and it has consistently ranked in Asia's top lists since. The companion Nicklaus Course sits alongside it in the same resort complex.
Breakfast and transfer west into the Ba Na Hills for the second round. Luke Donald's championship layout climbs through lush tropical jungle with mountain and valley views from almost every hole. The course has been named Asia's Best Golf Course five times, which tells you everything you need to know. The routing demands shot-making ability and local knowledge, which is exactly why the caddie is so valuable here. Post-round lunch at the clubhouse is included. This afternoon, those who want it can explore the Ba Na Hills cable car and the French Village above the clouds.
About Ba Na Hills Golf Club Designed by Luke Donald, the 2023 European Ryder Cup captain, and opened in 2016. The course sits at altitude in the Ba Na Hills resort complex, which also includes the famous Golden Bridge (held up by two giant stone hands) and the French colonial-era Ba Na Village. Warm, humid and dramatic in equal measure.
The day Vietnam actually shows itself. This morning, your ASEAN Links host leads the group north along the coast to the Hai Van Pass, the mountain ridge that divides the climatic zones of northern and southern Vietnam. The views from the top are extraordinary, the old French and American war fortifications still visible in the scrub along the ridgeline.
From the pass, the group drops down to the Lang Co lagoon on the northern side, one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the country. Seafood lunch at a local fishing village restaurant on the lagoon. This afternoon, the route back to Da Nang passes through the Marble Mountains, a cluster of five marble and limestone peaks rising from the coastal plain, riddled with Buddhist sanctuaries and cave pagodas. Your guide navigates the stone steps to the best viewpoints.
Early breakfast and a scenic drive north through the Hai Van tunnel, emerging on the Lang Co peninsula with the lagoon on one side and the East Sea on the other. Laguna Lang Co golf club occupies one of the most extraordinary pieces of land in Southeast Asia. Nick Faldo routed the course between mountains, jungle, rivers and lagoons, with water in play on twelve holes and the Truong Son mountain range forming the backdrop to the entire layout. Named Vietnam's Best Golf Course in 2019. Post-round lunch at the Banyan Tree resort, then back to Da Nang for the evening.
About Laguna Lang Co Nick Faldo's design sits within the Laguna Lang Co integrated resort, which includes the Banyan Tree and Angsana hotels. The course winds through estuarine terrain with ocean, lagoon, river and mountain views on different holes. Named Vietnam's Best Golf Course at the World Golf Awards 2019. One of the true hidden gems of Asian golf.
The final round, and a fitting close. Transfer south to Montgomerie Links Vietnam, where Colin Montgomerie built 18 holes across the natural white sand dunes of Quang Nam Province. At 7,124 yards from the tips, it demands accuracy and course management from the first tee to the last. The dune terrain means every hole plays differently depending on the wind, and the layout rewards golfers who think before they swing. English-speaking caddie and motorised cart included.
After the round, your farewell dinner is at the Montgomerie Links clubhouse with the dunes stretching out beyond the terrace. Drinks are cold, the sun is going down, and the group has a week of stories to trade. This is the moment everyone brings up when they get home.
Montgomerie Links Vietnam Designed by Colin Montgomerie and opened in 2009. Uses the natural white sand dunes of Quang Nam as both terrain and hazard. Named Best New Course in Vietnam on opening and consistently ranked among the finest layouts in Southeast Asia. A genuine links experience in the heart of the Golf Coast.
