These Booking Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form the basis of your contract with ASEAN Links Golf Pty Ltd ("ASEAN Links", "we", "us"). Please read them carefully before making a booking.
A booking is confirmed when ASEAN Links receives a completed booking form and the required deposit from the lead passenger, and issues a written confirmation. From that point, a binding contract exists between the lead passenger and ASEAN Links on behalf of all persons named in the booking. The lead passenger accepts these Terms on behalf of all travelling party members and is responsible for ensuring all members of the party are aware of these Terms.
All bookings are subject to availability. ASEAN Links reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion prior to confirmation being issued.
A non-refundable deposit of AUD $500 per person is required to secure your place on a tour. Your place is not held until the deposit is received and a confirmation is issued by ASEAN Links.
The balance of the tour price is due no later than 90 days before the tour departure date. If full payment is not received by this date, ASEAN Links reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled and apply the cancellation charges set out in Section 3.
For bookings made within 90 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Payments are accepted by bank transfer (EFT) or credit card. Bank details and payment instructions are provided on the booking confirmation. Credit card payments may incur a processing surcharge of up to 1.5%.

If you wish to cancel your booking, the lead passenger must notify ASEAN Links in writing by email to aseanlinksgolf@gmail.com. Cancellation takes effect from the date the written notice is received.
The following cancellation charges apply based on the number of days before the departure date on which notice is received:

"Total tour price" means the full per-person price multiplied by the number of persons in the booking, including any supplements paid.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance with cancellation cover, purchased at the time of booking. See Section 8.
If you are unable to travel, you may transfer your booking to another person, subject to ASEAN Links' approval and provided the replacement traveller meets any applicable requirements. A transfer administration fee of AUD $150 per person applies. Transfer requests must be made at least 30 days before departure. Within 30 days of departure, transfers are not guaranteed and are subject to supplier approval.
If you wish to amend your booking (for example, change accommodation type, add or remove a traveller), please contact us in writing as early as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but cannot guarantee availability.
An amendment fee of AUD $75 per person per change applies for amendments made within 60 days of departure. No amendment fee applies for changes made more than 60 days before departure, though any difference in tour price is payable.
Requests to change departure dates are treated as a cancellation of the original booking and a new booking, subject to the cancellation charges in Section 3.
ASEAN Links reserves the right to cancel a tour departure if minimum booking numbers are not reached. We will notify you of such a cancellation no later than 60 days before departure. In this event, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid to ASEAN Links, including the deposit. No further compensation is payable.
ASEAN Links may cancel a tour at any time due to force majeure - circumstances beyond our reasonable control including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, war, civil unrest, government travel advisories, or other events that make it impossible or unsafe to operate the tour. In such cases, ASEAN Links will offer a full credit note valid for 24 months or, where possible, a refund of recoverable costs. ASEAN Links is not liable for any additional costs incurred by you, including flights.
Inclusions vary by tour. The definitive inclusions list for each tour is set out on the relevant tour page at aseanlinksgolf.com and is confirmed in your booking documentation. Standard inclusions for guided tour packages typically cover:
Any item not listed above or specifically confirmed in your booking documentation is not included.
Unless expressly stated, the following are not included in any ASEAN Links tour price:
Comprehensive travel insurance is compulsory for all ASEAN Links guests. You must hold a policy that is valid for the full duration of the tour and covers, at minimum:
ASEAN Links strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance at the time of booking to ensure cancellation cover applies from the earliest possible date. We recommend a minimum medical cover of AUD $5,000,000 for travel in Southeast Asia.
By confirming your booking, you declare that you either hold appropriate travel insurance or will obtain it before departure. ASEAN Links accepts no liability for any costs arising from your failure to hold adequate insurance.
Published itineraries are planned in advance and subject to change. ASEAN Links reserves the right to alter the order of activities, substitute courses or accommodation of equivalent standard, or modify the itinerary where circumstances require - including but not limited to weather conditions, course closures, supplier issues or safety considerations.
Where a significant change is made before departure, you will be notified as soon as possible and offered the option to accept the change or receive a refund of the amount paid. Minor changes (such as the sequence of rounds or excursions) do not constitute a significant change.
Tee times are confirmed no less than 30 days before departure. All courses operate subject to their own conditions and closures, for which ASEAN Links cannot be held responsible.
All guests are expected to behave responsibly and with courtesy to other guests, ASEAN Links staff, course staff, local guides and accommodation providers throughout the tour.
ASEAN Links reserves the right to remove any guest from a tour who behaves in a manner that, in the reasonable opinion of the tour host, is disruptive, offensive or places others at risk. In such cases, no refund is payable and any costs of alternative arrangements are the sole responsibility of the removed guest.
By booking, you confirm that you are fit to travel and participate in the activities included in the tour. ASEAN Links is not responsible for pre-existing medical conditions. If you have a medical condition that may affect your ability to participate, please disclose this at the time of booking.
Most partner courses require a current handicap certificate for insurance purposes. Where a handicap is required, this will be noted in the tour documentation. Social golfers without a formal handicap should contact us before booking to confirm their eligibility for the specific courses in their chosen tour.
ASEAN Links acts as a tour operator and organiser. In arranging accommodation, golf, transfers and activities, ASEAN Links uses third-party suppliers. ASEAN Links exercises reasonable care in the selection of suppliers but does not own, manage or control the hotels, golf courses, transport operators or other service providers used.
ASEAN Links' liability to you is limited to the total amount paid by you to ASEAN Links for the tour, except where losses are caused by our own negligence.
ASEAN Links is not liable for any loss, injury or damage caused by the acts or omissions of third-party suppliers, circumstances beyond our control, or your own actions or negligence.
Nothing in these Terms limits ASEAN Links' liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by Australian law.
If you have a complaint during your tour, please bring it to the attention of your tour host or ASEAN Links representative as soon as possible so that we have the opportunity to resolve it. If your complaint cannot be resolved on tour, you must notify ASEAN Links in writing within 28 days of returning home. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and aim to provide a full response within 14 business days.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or from any booking shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under Australian Consumer Law.
